Hi, I have a SOT with a central mounting point for a rod holder. I don't have a rod holder on it at the moment, and I was wondering whether there were camera mounts that would fit the mounting point (assuming these tend to conform to certain dimensions).

Checking online, all I see are suction type mounts

There's lots of different mounts available. Two of the most popular are Scotty and Railblaza. There's plenty of cheap Chinese knock offs too. It really depends which mount you have. Post a photo and we'll have a look.

So, this is the mounting point I have on my kayak.

I don't have a base plate or anything.

Those four threaded holes are for a Scotty base plate. Once that's fitted you can then drop lots of different Scotty fittings into it, including extenders with camera mounts. You could also use the one I have which is like a T-Bar and has three mount holes across it. I put two rod holders in the outer ones with the camera mounted in the centre one.
This is not a great photo but it shows my set up.
