You may have noticed (or you may notice soon) that Google Chrome has started to brand Boards.ie as not secure. This is not something to worry about.

This is due to the fact that the last update to Chrome will now flag any page with a form to fill and not served over https as insecure. On a site like ours, this means almost every page of the site needs to be displayed over https.

We have been working to get the site all onto https for some time and are close to a solution. There are a number of issues with what we have so far - they would affect (break) some features of the site which we want to avoid so we need to get these right before rolling out the changes.

In short, the security of Boards has not changed but Google have changed their requirements. We have been working on https to meet these requirements which we hope to roll out site wide once a number of known issues with it are ironed out.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
