Nooooo...dont say that. I need all this ice and crap to be gone by 4 today. It is more than welcome to come back tonight but please please go away for a few hours.

Everything still white and frozen here. looks like that band of precip. coming in over Galway/mayo is probably going to be rain, or sleet at best.

    This could get messy.

A guide to reading posts on Boards.ie snow report threads :pac:

    REPORT (REALITY)
It's snowing (I just spotted some sleet in between the raindrops)
It's a blizzard (I counted 8 snowflakes in the last minute)
Massive shower heading for me on the radar, here it comes...oh wait...no..where is it going (The pitfalls of radar watching when showers go out of their way to miss you)
The roads are like ice rinks (I have never been on an ice rink before)
F**$*$ snow, go away!!!!!! (I secretly love snow but I want to be different and pretend I hate it)
Get a grip people, it's only snow  (I secretly love snow but I want to be different and pretend I hate it)
Just had a massive hail shower (Just had a massive graupel shower)
Just had a massive graupel shower (Just had a massive hail shower)
We never get snow here (12 months ago I was under 18 inches of snow)
The bog has turned a wee shade of orange and the fox is standing on the donkey's head (I deliver post in Donegal and think it will be mild this Christmas)
SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOLY COW ELEPHANT SNOWWWWW!!! *** (I like snow)
No snow here (I am from Cork)

Saw a pic in the Irish Star yesterday of an impassable road covered in snow. Cars covered couple of feet deep in snow. Guess where it was in Ireland ?

    Coleraine !

    What's falling there now?
