    Try here: http://www.bnag.ie/courses_finding.htm

Ionad na Gaeilge Labhartha (Centre for spoken Irish), is supposed to be good, but I'm not sure if they do courses for non-UCC students. (You could phone them).

    Go n-éirí an t-ádh leat!

    Hi All,

I have a pass level leaving cert Irish. I like speaking the cupla focial around the house at home but I would like a refresher course in it. I believe that when in school my Irish was some bit better.

Is there a night class in Cork that anyone knows about that would help me?

And perhaps not just a refresher course but a non-beginners course.

    Regards

I have contacted UCC. They are to send me on some information.

Glor Na Geal seem to offer some conversational courses - I'll see if they have a branch in Cork.

I must also contact City of Cork VEC.

I'll let you know on results.

Still awaiting feedback from City Of Cork VEC. The one in UCC looks promising.

    Hi all,
I have recently moved to Cork from Belfast and would like to further improve my Irish. I was studying Irish in Belfast and got to level 3 and was about to start Leaving cert/GCSE's this year until I moved.
I was Ulster Irish of course but I should be able to pick up the Munster Irish fast and I'm looking for classes on level 3 and/or Leaving Cert level in Cork.

    Hey man

The only ones I know of are:

Ionad na Gaeilge Labhartha in UCC: http://www.ucc.ie/igl/IGL/

Or Gael taca do class too:

    http://gael-taca.com/ga/

Not sure if either are what you are looking for though.

    ádh mór

I've attended the courses run by Gaelchultúr near CUH in Wilton and I found them very good. My teacher was also teaching the nightclasses at UCC and said that the content and approach was similar but that the Gaelchultúr classes were smaller. They only seem to be running the lower intermediate level course when they next resume in February. This is the level I took and it was perfect for somebody who had maybe done Irish in school but not done a whole lot since. Full details here:
