Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Anyone else playing this? It's a pretty decent mobile based MMO. It's often accused of being Pay to Win but after a few months of playing as a free-loader I'm enjoying it.

    I tried it. Find it very basic and did not like the way you could not negotiate or scan other ships. It was just destroy the no matter who they are and that was it.
    I much prefer Star Trek Timelines and Trexils which is very good too.

    Yeah, i play a lot. l31 currently. about 18 months into it.
    finally gave in and threw some money at the current event for the first time, its a savagely expensive game though, "mirco" transactions are not micro is any sense of the word.
    the progression is so throttled by things like crystal and command badges, the idea forcing you to spend hundreds, if not thousands, to progress at an anyway decent pace.

    What server are you on Cookie Monster? I'm [S31] ChiefSleepyOBrien if you're on server 159.

    I'm just in the middle of my lvl 28 upgrade, only real money I've spent to date on it was to buy the D'vor though, like yourself I caved and spent the €22 on the current event. The pay-to-progress guys seem to really fire cash into it. €100 for a upgrade pack? GTF.
