Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    I got my teeth whitened at my dentists and was given some Opalescence 16% syringes to use at home, however I wasn't given any advise on how to use it and I can't get through to my dentist to ask.

    Has anyone here used this before, I just need to know how long the 16% formula can be left on your teeth in moulds, is it overnight or just for a few hours?

    Any advice given appreciated,

    To be honest , you could wear them overnight , I usually advise 60-90 minutes if you are just wearing during the day. I believe the actual Carbamide peroxide breaks down to oxygen and water so the product itself tends towards a neutral solution.
    I don't use opalescence , but the best best result I encountered with at home bleaching was with that product.
