Products you observed to have the Fairtrade & Rainforest Alliance logos

    I probably wouldn't have noticed if these were stamped on any of the items I buy, but I reckon they're rare to come by.

    There's another certification mark called UTZ, which is the benchmark for the sustainability for tea, coffee and cocoa. And some companies make sure their cardboard is FSC (forest stewardship council) certified.

    I see the Fairtrade logo on coffee, tea, chocolate,bananas regularly.
    FSC isn't good enough - which I grumble everytime I buy toilet/kitchen paper. Why don't shops stock these products made from recycled paper.
    In the UK a choice of these products made from recycled paper has been available for decades past.

    I've seen it on cotton (clothes), pineapples, bananas, other types of fruit, wine, china (mugs, etc), etc.
