Alan Farrel on the other hand.......

Double facepalm for Alan mind you as he actually took part in a campaign to put an end to spurious claims.
Ah C'mon, the Swing is not really a playground swing, it's a swing you just sit on, and get you picture taken for Tinder/POF/Bumble/etc. It's about 1.5 feet off the ground.
There is no way falling off it could seriously injure you.

She's taking the p!ss!

If her claim is that she fell off a swing then she should **** off. But if the swing fell while she was on it and she was injured that may not be her fault.
She had items in both hands, and sat on the swing and fell off, it didn't break.

Her argument is the Swing was "unsupervised".
She's a grown woman FFS!

If she wins that could effect every playground that has a swing in the country!

Rule no12 of the playground, always grab on when getting on a swing.
Eejit.
I'm intrigued now as to the other rules of the playground. If it's not already on the list can we add "Don't do a Legolas on the slide".

It's amazing how gentle humans have become.
You fall off a swing due to your own stupidity and it's somehow not your fault cause you weren't told how to use a swing properly?
Why do we even bother working if we can make a years salary by being a complete an utter bag of gob****e

This is the f**king point!

This Person has been elected to run a country and doesn't know how to use a Swing!

When the TD's go complaining about insurance costs they won't mention this case as a reason.

If she gets 60k how much does it cost in total?

€80k, €100k when you take into other costs.

No1. No talking about the Playground.
No2. No talking about the Playground.
No3. If this is your first day at the Playground, you have to go face first down the slide.
No4. Don't wear shorts on hot days on the slide.

Double Facepalm for Fine Gael.. For not convincing these two to join another party. and didn't another sue a paper for a daft headline?

Alan Farrell actually singled out kids in playgrounds as a reason compo culture should not be tolerated, and less than a year later, he and his colleague have brought two ridiculous cases to court.
If a swing isn't the perfect example of kids playground insurance premiums...
