Thermostat reading 26 degrees here in my garden in Cork City

Well not feeling that same warmth in North county Dublin... That old easterly spoiling the warmth again

Was sitting out for two hours and have a colour now! Didn't expect this today really tbh. Much more bearable then last week too as the humidity is less.

Jaysus lovely day today. After the hot spell I gave up on even reading the forecast for a while (bar top temperatures) and I've been pleasantly surprised.

Not overly warm (at all, max 19.2c and haven't reached 20°c yet this month) but it's calm and sunny!

Haven't seen rain in any quantifiable amount in nearly 2 weeks.

Great day in Kerry, sunny skies all day getting up to 20.9C here near Tralee and currently 18.2C.

Been a grand few days, pity Northern counties under cloud with lower temperatures.

Just home in Limk after a glorious day at the golf in Lahinch. Hazy sunshine in

    a nice refreshing breeze.

Bad summer? My garden is as dry as a bone and I've seen very little rain so far

    this summer.

Stunning day with a Max Temp of 22.8c at my station in Waterford City. Spent the afternoon at Bunmahon Beach and it was very pleasant 18c. A nice breeze and clear skies. Water temps still very cool but it was noticeably less colder than yesterday.

Stunning evening here near Tralee, cooling down, now at 13.1C. There was shallow fog here early this morning, might see some again tomorrow morning. Sea temperature not bad in Banna Beach this evening with the tide fully in.

Dark and drizzly in Letterkenny, feels like we're in a different country up here recently reading through this thread, have barely seen sight of the sun since last Saturday and temperate has struggled to top 16C

I feel more warmth in that sun this morning than I've felt in many midday suns this 'summer' thus far

Wonder will we fall victim to the 11AM cloud cover build up again
