I thought wouldn't it be weird if I got somewhere I have been.

Next pic was a block from somewhere I have lived, on a street I have walked many, many times. And I didn't recognise it! :o

Got a place and immediately thought Europe, little sign beside canal had Utrecht written on it. Bingo!

Wrong! :( Turns out I was near 10,000km away. It's a friggin Dutch theme park in Japan! Not fair. Even worse I've actually passed through the place:o

    9926 for me!

Great game, The first one I got had graffiti saying Pinochet so that one was easy but the rest didn't really have any identifying signs. Had to guess based on where I thought might have that kind of scenery etc. So pretty pleased with my result! :)

Ah yeah, but you're treking these roads and then all of a sudden you're under the sea!

25053 with diligent internet researching. Some of them can be tricky even using google, especially south American/Spanish/Portuguese.

Once I discovered you can zoom in on the mini map when placing yo're pin it was obvious you were supposed to be as accurate as possible. Spent ages going down a lone highway in texas looking for a signpost.

Anyone try to do it as fast as possible? Best score without research or exploring is 12k for me so far.

i try to do it quickly.
take into account the types of plantlife/ buildings/ vehicles/ fashion and guess from that.
never do any research or looking up, sounds like it would ruin the fun.

Throwing a bump into this thread.

Been playing since Xmas and have been loving it. Discovered it from watching Tom Davies' (Geowizard) videos on Youtube.

    Anyone still play?
