Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Renovating the Rock of Cashel

I've always wondered if it would be possible to put a roof on the buildings on the Rock of Cashel and renovate the whole place so it could be used as a living functioning state building again. I think it's such a cool looking monument, it's a shame that it's derelict.

Hmm, I don't know if it's possible but I do think that it would be cool if the State used truly Irish buildings instead of those Anglo-Irish buildings like Farmleigh House and so on.
