Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Things to consider when renting out a shed?

    I have a fantastic garage that is 8.5 x 6.5 and fully insulated. As I have a smaller garage for storage, I’d love to know whether renting out the unused larger garage is an option. What are the implications (insurance, etc.) associated with shed rentals? It has a separate entrance from my home but ideally, I’d like to rent it for storage. I’ve happy neighbours and want to keep it that way.

    Times of access.
    Insurance.
    Fire risk.
    What will be stored there.
    Security of the person renting from you.
