Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    The above is a new book by Denis G. Marnane. €30 from County Tipperary Historical Society, Cathedral St., Thurles. It covers the activities of the 3rd Brigade.

    I have not seen it yet but if it is anything like another by him (which I have - Land & Violence) it will be worth the price.

    The Third Tipperary is always good for material, particularly with all the 'celebrities' it had in its ranks such as Dan Breen, Seán Treacy and Denis Lacey.

    I picked it up a few weeks ago, more local historians like Marnane are needed
