Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Level really stops mattering all that much post lv 30, there's obv a decent gap in a pokemons max power between lv 30 and 40, but it's not worth the grind in any way, so my advice would be to not worry at all about your level post 30, just play the game in whatever way you can get enjoyment :)

    yeah it has, finally hit lvl 36 last night after making 2 lucky egg runs, and managed to get myself to 10% the way to lvl 37, 2 million exp seems a very daunting task :P

    Impressive commitment to the game;

    For comparison, I'm 1/3 towards lvl 36.

    XP 6437701.
    12395 caught,
    914 eggs hatched,
    13112 pokestop's,
    1437 KM walked,
    only 3 gold gym badges.....but I do have a total of 223 gym badges.

    239/242 (I guess the beasts and Mewtwo make 245 for a full Dex?)

    Nice getting to 40, I just flipped over into Level 37...., playing less and less, just daily streaks, and gyms on way to and from work so doubt I'll see level 38.

    Congrats on getting to Lv40!! It's an amazing achievement and something you should be very proud of!! ;)

    Also, feck the lucky eggs, getting 4 incubators and 40 Ultra balls is pretty decent but stardust would've been a nice bonus.

    I've just reached Lv38. Happy with that as it took me less time to get from 37 - 38 than it took from 36 - 37. I have a fair oul slog ahead of me to get to 40 but there's no rush! :D

    Lvl 32 and loads of fun.
    Tier 3 soloing will keep us entertained for another couple of levels I suspect.

    Im "halfway there"!!!!!

    Midpoint from lvl 37 to lvl 38. Which is apparently 50% of the xp needed for Level 40!!

    750k through lv 39, just another 4.25 mill to go xD

    Going at a snails pace, I actually think the game has improved massively with the past 2/3 updates, but I think it was a bit too little too late for me, the interest has already waned, and the crappy weather hasn't helped.

    I watched a trainer tips video a couple of weeks ago. He posited a decent reward for reaching lvl 40. Why not award an special EX pass to those players, but not a specific one. Allow them to rock up to any EX raid near them and join in.

    Been on 37 for about 12 weeks now. Got 1.05m into the 2.5m needed. Tough slog. Last few weeks I've been back playing more again though.
