My old christmas cards from my mum rip, still have them, no big writing on them,

Dear A

Wishing you a very happy Christmas, lots of love, mam.

Short and sweet but wish I was still getting them

Mine would be from a cousin, we would had been very close when we were younger, however with her moving away and just things, that happen while becoming adults, we drifted apart.

I moved into my own place with my daughter (out frist place, either of us ever had, I had worked very long hours so we could) she managed to get my address from someone.

It read, "enjoy some time off in your new place"

It was very nice to receive, something I wasn't expecting in the letter box.

Best message for me when I got a knock on the door and there was no one there when I answered just a card on the ground with a message saying ' see you down the pub in 5'.

I knew it could only be from the brother who was away in Australia and wasn't due home that Christmas. I was straight down the pub and there he was with a pint ready. My two favourite things for Christmas. Deadly

Mine is an annual card I receive every year from a college friend that now lives in America ... we fill each other in on what happened every year and haven’t missed a year since we graduated

It was the last card I got from my Nana and I had left college and was struggling to find a job and was doubting myself and she gave me a card that said 'don't worry about knowing what you want to do just focus on who you want to be' I've never forgotten those words

My favourite Christmas card message I ever received was from my sister is Australia telling me that she was coming home for Christmas after years of being away and that I would see her in two days! 😊
