Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    The very middle of Ireland which up until the last twenty four hours was the darkest, wettest and most godforsaken locality west of anywhere. Today however, reprieve, we actually had a whole hour of sunshine. I did take a photo of it just in case that hour was the whole of the infamous Irish Summer. :(

    (note to self:talking about the sun may not be the best on a forum dedicated to things that go bump in the night!)

    Well workwise I'm supposed to be writing a funding application for loadsa money but Boards has pretty much killed that one tonight. :(

    My devoted daughter (Ha! to be said Edna Krabopel-like) is on a three week drama camp, her lil bro is missing her like crazy and has spent the evening trying to find new and evermore exciting ways of making my hair grey. The latest was waiting til i was using the bathroom before unlocking the front door and escaping onto the road. Ah children, the joy! He's two years old btw and seems to be a Houdini in minature.

    Interests are currently on hiatus but I love to cook and to run. Unfortunately i spend more time on the former so I really need to get back into the latter.

    When you say film is it making it or watching it? I did my degree in film and adored the process but unfortunately a newborn and 5.30am crew calls didn't mix so i knocked it on the head. But i can still strip a 16mm Arriflex and reload it in the dark inside one minute.;)
