Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    I've just ordered this one to replace my 15 year old unit. Seems to be good value for a pumped system. Might need a few tweaks to make it how I want, but will need to see what it has when it arrives

    I went for reverse osmosis. €249

    Would anyone happen to know what valve the EWT 606 system uses?

    Tempted to go with their water softener system but not sure how easy it is to service if anything goes wrong..

    From what I can tell the Clack WS1CI valves are easier to get parts for but they wouldn't be the best in terms of cost of running.

    I did the one from EWT, osmosis technology, just one tap, 249 euro. Ceramic saves water, Osmosis cleans more.

    I did some reading up Osmosis v Ceramic and chose Ceramic. Mainly because I need a whole house filtration system, and Osmosis would remove also all good minerals. Unless you get a system that puts then back in again. And Osmosis doesnt do a whole house either, plus it needs power.

    For my situation Ceramic is better.

    what is the costs for replacing the filters? can you buy them yourself without going back to the company?

    I moved to another product called Aquaphor - filters cost 85 euro every 2 years. Can replace it yourself. But for 110 you get a check as well as filter replacement.

    1100 for reverse osmosis system + Clack Lime scale remover system.

    No electricity required for the RO water purifier.
