Hello,

Just wondering how to go about getting mortgage for house in rural Galway when working and renting accommodation in Dublin. Myself and wife are from Galway and plan on moving back there when job opportunities arise. We see more value there than in Dublin and see our long term future there. With our jobs both in Dublin would this be a red flag for banks for first time buyer mortgage application or would we be looking at but to let mortgage? What would implications be? Higher rate/deposit etc...
