What happens to baby skips after they’ve been collected and emptied?

Are they destroyed or recycled themselves?

Or are they just put out for sale again?

I believe they are not longer used after the first use as they cannot be guaranteed to take a load if damaged in first use. I have a couple now to dispose of having had a delivery of stone chippings to keep us busy in lockdown. One is perfect but the second has been cut down partially. Is it to be put in the green bin or black? I have friends who use these bags to transport grass and hedgeclippings to the dump. Are they waterproof? would they be any good to protect raised beds overwinter?
