Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    It's really good...my brother got me into Beirut, but I have to go back and listen to the Flying Club Cup. I've only really heard 'Gulag Arkestar' and 'Postcards from Italy'. The Arkestar is class...we were joking that it sounds like the kind of music you'd hear in a movie set in the Ukraine in the Soviet era, with columns of thousands of oppressed people marching desolately while Cossacks laugh and stroke their beards. Dark humour, I know.

    Yeah, have to check out Daniel Johnston, love that song 'The Beatles'. And yeah, Spirit of Eden is such a class album. Was seriously thinking of getting a small tattoo, just 'Spirit of Eden' or 'SoE' in a hidden place.

    Mark Hollis is a genius. Laughing Stock and his solo album are great too.
