Hi, someone gave me a powercode for €30 which they never used and said it was still valid.  Is there a way of checking if the code was used or not before I give it to someone I know that uses prepay power?
    Thanks

    Hi there,

Thank you for getting in touch.

We can just give information relating to Electric Ireland.

A code is only valid for the meter and account which the PAYG card to registered to. If the person you wish to give it to has a different account number, they won't be able to use it. This is because the money used to pay for it has been credited to the corresponding electricity account.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

    Kind regards,
    Aoife
