Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Francesco Casagrande why why??? u were an "old style pro"........did all the classics & tours.....man you will be a legend in my eyes,once more i bid farwell to another great Italian hero,farewell..........you will be missed!!!!!!!

    the sad thing is here, on a personal note, the legends that I saw in the magazines when I had my aspirations are retiring, one by one.

    the peleton is reshaping - this man was a legend. Not a true great, but damn good

    thats what I was thinking too uberwolf. In the last little while a number of my favourite riders have retired: Cipollini, Tafi, Bartoli, Virenque, Zuelle :(

    If it wasn't for Ullrich and Scanlon (and the rest of the Irish boys) I wouldn't know who to cheer for... :)
