    Hi

What is the resistance of 10m of 2.5 t+e
    ,10m of 1.5 T+e, 10m 6 sq t+e and
    10m 16sq t+e

    Thanks

A twin and earth cable has 3 cores within it (live, neutral & earth).
Which cores do you want the resistance of within each twin and earth cable?

The reading will be the same between all conductors if it’s the new t&e cable

Page 6 of this newsletter gives typical readings for 1.5 and 2.5

I understand that the conductors are now the same size I was not clear if the OP wanted to know the resistance of phase + neutral, phase + earth or just phase for each 10m length. As it happens it would seem that the OP just requires the resistance of the earth conductor.

I also don’t know if the OP is referring to the new T & E or the older type (which has the reduced earth).

    Approximate values:
    • 1.5 mm sq. copper cable is 12.1 mΩ per meter
    • 2.5 mm sq. copper cable is 7.41 mΩ per meter
    • 6 mm sq. copper cable is 4.61 mΩ per meter
    • 10 mm sq. copper cable is 1.83 mΩ per meter
    • 16 mm sq. copper cable is 1.15 mΩ per meter

So multiply by 10 to get the resistance for 10m.
