I'm holding a scriptwriting Workshop in Westport, County Mayo 14th/ 15th /16th May

The cost for the three days is €120. Unlike many of these courses I actually have extensive experience in the industry and you can check me out on imdb here:

    http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0172016/

Anyone who needs accommodation I will try to get some special rates. Also if people are interested in house sharing I'll find out rates for that too.

    I will require a *€20 deposit.

Also I would like examples of your work sent to me before hand if you have any.

You can email me direct via len@lencollin.com

    or post suggestions etc here.

I'll also guarantee that anyone who is not happy with the course can get their money back. [Except the deposit for obvious reasons]

    Hi Len,

    Did you write The Covies?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,924 ✭✭✭Fatboydim

Yes I did - So that's one customer lost then :D

  • Registered Users Posts: 621 ✭✭✭detoxkid

Hey there, what time is the course held at?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,924 ✭✭✭Fatboydim

From 18.00 on the Friday. I'll do a welcome session that will be somewhat informal to allow people who are traveling time to get to the venue. If anyone's going to be really late on the Friday then I'll take them through the session when they arrive - so they don't miss out.

Then we'll start 10.30 through to 18.00 on Sat and 10.30 - 17.00 on Sunday to allow people to get the 17.45 train.

    Hi Len,

Would this be aimed at total beginners, or people with experience only?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,924 ✭✭✭Fatboydim

Quiet a few absolute beginners. When I did these in the UK you'd always get a good cross section. I'd look after you :D

No sooner do I write that than there is a change LOL.

    It's May 28th / 29th and 30th at the Castlecourt Hotel, Westport.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,924 ✭✭✭Fatboydim

Again a slight change - But now definite and booked. Set in stone.

    It's 28th, 29th and 30th May.

Venue is the Castlecourt Hotel - Westport.

Welcome session Friday 28th May between 17.00 18.00 - Then two hour intro.

Saturday 29th May. Start at 10.30. Break for lunch 13.00, and then 14.00 - 17.00

Sunday 30th May. Start at 11.00. Break for lunch at 13.00. Then 14.00 - 17.00

The cost for the course is €120.

I'll have rates for accommodation nearer the time, but I expect them to be reasonable and there is plenty of rooms in Westport. I can also look into cottage hire for anyone interested.

I will require a €20 deposit which is non-refundable. That can be sent to:

Len Collin, Knockrooskey, Westport, Co Mayo. I can also do Paypal if that's more convenient. Just let me know.

    email: len@lencollin.com

There's a limited number of spaces left now - So anyone wishing to travel up please PM me to avoid disappointment as I'd hate to have to turn people away and I know the hotel's conference rooms are fully booked so moving to a larger room is not an option.
