Velux Solar Blinds removal

    Hiya guys, I'm trying to remove a velux solar blind from the window in order to paint around. The blinds are about 10 years old. recent velux videos show you how to easily click the blinds off and on. Mine are not as in the video.
    Black bracket was part of the blinds which I think I just clipped onto something already on the window. But I don't want to damage the blind by pulling the wrong way. I have tugged at them perpendicular to the window but they won't budge, rails are off.
    any help please .. see pic.( Please excuse the mould, the plan is to clean that too)

    It's ok I got it sorted.. In order to help anyone else trying to remove these things do the following.

    Remove the rails, let the blind hang down almost fully so you can grip the back of the part attached to the window fully.
    Then as you look at the blind facing the top with your back to the window.
    Pull hard with both hands on left hand side (perpendicular to the window) .
    Theres a video that shows you but its a lot harder to do than they show you.
