    Hi guys and girls.

Is it mandatory to fit an EV charger on a new installation in a domestic dwelling?

the department of the environment is about to include a new section in the building rules that every new dwelling house must have provision left for a ev charger in the future. This must include provision at the design stage so that space be left free in the main electrical enclosure and that either a cable of adequate size or a ducting be ran to a suitable place outside to locate a car charger .
