Picked this up recently. Black edition C8 A6. 3L V6 286bhp. Very happy with it. Big upgrade on my previous A6 particularly the interior.

Thanks, its late 2018, will pop up a few of the inside later! Could well be my last fully combustion engine based car!

Probably a contender for the most nondescript/boring/worst car on this thread, but it just dawned on me today that since taking this as a trade in in September, I've done 10k in it, and its not even my daily driver. An absolute mule of a thing, it hasn't wanted for anything bar fuel. I've dragged all sorts with it the length and breadth of the country, loaned it out to friends/family and it has always come back kicking. A genuinely brilliant yoke, which I never would have expected from Kia as far back as 06.

Dragged this yoke 150 km home today not a bother to it!

Father in law has an 05 Santa Fe that is a complete dogs body and it just refuses to die! Think there's the bones of 400k km on it now and he can't justify getting rid of it.

    It's horrible to drive though

Those Sportages were basically the same as the Tucson, but I think they had the higher bhp engine from the outset. They usually had leather and stuff too.
Used to hate seeing them roll into the forecourt as they were invariably driven by people who thought they were worth a fortune.

138 bhp, which is more than enough for what it is really. Nice cream leather, chrome shiny bits outside and curiously a double din touchscreen sat nav/radio unit thing..I’d say whoever bought it new thought it was as good as a Range Rover!

You may as well fit some pressed plates while you’re down there.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,883 ✭✭✭hooch-85

I don't think I could be arsed changing plates any more. The plastic standard font ones are fine to me.

    Stop.
8 more days to go until payday.
    Torture.
I've made a mental note not to buy any more cars around Christmas

Filled it up after work and drove home.
Admittedly it was behind some idiot who couldn't find the gas pedal...but still, not bad for a petrol AWD yoke, is it? :D

It’s also the size of a toaster!
Good economy all the same. Do you notice the AWD in normal driving?
