Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Whirlpool Dishwasher

    Hi Folks

    I have a whirlpool dishwasher. Its six years old to be honest never given any problems until now. When the wash cycle is finished, it continues to beep. It does not stop until you turn it off.

    Anyone got ant ideas.

    Check the drain hose, it may not be emptying. Is there water left in the bottom after the wash cycle?

    No there is no water left in the bottom after the cycle. The dishes dont be dry. It starts beeping at the end of the cycle when its on the rinse.

    Maybe the sensor that detects the system has drained is faulty and the dishwasher "thinks" it is still full of water and stops.

    If you say the dishes are coming out wet i would suspect that it is not heating, you can check by opening the door during the wash and see if it is getting hot, if its not heating you will need a meter to check the heater element for continuity, also check the position of the spray arms that they are moving as the circulation pumps in these are prone to wear

    its probably just the ntc
