Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

I tried to play the rapid 10 min one on Lichess - I think I was doing ok I started on 3/3 or 4/4 or something, but then I looked at the leaderboard and saw that I was miles behind
I didnt realise its not about results its just about racking up points quickly, even if you lose. I then tried to play super quick but I was in panic mode, and yes there were a couple of games that were very suspicious in terms of my opponents, I couldnt swear by it but the play was just too perfect to be true. Anyway I was too far behind and knocked it on the head.
Not sure what platform or way there is to have a proper tournament (Swiss format)0 -

The scoring rewards streaks of wins, so there is some incentive not to just race through it.
