The DTH70 is nice kit. Basically same innards as the Shack Alinco of similar spec. Expensive new compared to FT857

I can say from bitter experience that any aerial bigger than the most basic 2m/70cm whip need a triple mag-mount. I use one for a Dual band 10m/6m whip.

I'd like an E90 for 4m (the one thing the FT817 can't ever do on its own). Nice handie/talkie. Anyone want to buy for me
