Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Craft subscription boxes in Ireland?

    Any craft subscription boxes available within Ireland? All of the various ones I've seen so far appear to come from the UK which is just a ball of fun with brexit and the value limit of €22 including delivery.

    https://www.gathered.how/arts-crafts/best-craft-subscription-box-uk/ and https://www.cratejoy.com/ all seem to be very likely to be hit with import VAT from what I can see. Which in some cases would be fine, but a bit of a pain for something that is going to be a gift. Since it would end up the receiver having to pay VAT + admin fees for each box received. Kind of nullifies the whole gift vibe.

    Hi
    Try Vibes and Scribes Bridge Street in Cork. Thats their crafts, art, Sew,knit shop. They also have a book shop on the quays. The shop is a 3 floor treasure trove. They do a good online service now that the pandemic has closed the door.
