The GM said they called but it was a short call. Not happening.

edit: That was John Lynch actually. Sorry. Nothing online about the Broncos failing to get Rodgers.

Patrick surtain goes to the broncos. I mean none of the teams following them are in need of a QB so yeah the patriots seem like a good landing spot for fields.

Yeah I assume if they were going to get ar that pick would have been in the deal. Not going qb is mad under these circumstances.

I think its crazy draft philosphy by the Carolina and Denver there. Their QBs aren't good. I think teams are over-thinking Fields. Turn on his tape against Clemson.

Expecting Belichick to come into the picture here sooner.

Decent call. Moving him before June 1 is a disaster for GB. If not it was a poor pick for Broncos

I'm thinking that myself. Maybe the reason it wasn't announced is because it didn't involve any first rounders this year and announcing it would take the focus off the draft? They might announce the trade after the draft or tomorrow.
