Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

How to Embed Youtube Videos in Posts

    A lot of people seem to have difficulty with this so here's how it's done.

    All you need is the video reference from the url not the entire url, that's the bit after the =.

    So from the below url it's the P-X3TqY-Df8 that you need.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P-X3TqY-Df8

    The tags are
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P-X3TqY-Df8


    If you are using the full reply instead of quick reply you can click the youtube button and it will insert the tags into your post for you.

    Please don't quote embedded videos when replying to posts.
