    Looking for some podcast recommendations? 2 Genres:

    1. Crime - for someone who loves detective crime TV series..

    2. Personal stories - addiction/recovery/health/inspirational personal stories..

    What Was That Like and The Peripheral both would cover personal stories.

    When you say crime do you mean true crime or one dedicated to fictional crime?

    The Two Norries Podcast. Touches on the second one, recovery from addiction etc. Really interesting stories

    Only listened to one of the episodes as a local hero was the guest but will definitly try listen to more of them. The Paul Kilroy podcast The Irish Life Down Under, would touch on those issues the OP was looking for as well.
