I have a quick question for all you folks out there.

What maps do you use when hunting down previously unnamed sites?

I have found recently that Tom-Tom maps ( as per ipad ) show a lot more features.

(Just used them to find another 3 features added to the NMS Database.)

    Any inout would be appreciated.

I've found great variation between Google maps and Bing maps, and also Digital Globe used in the NMS webgis. Historic Maps (Heritage Council) has a selection of older aerials for comparison, but the resolution often isn't great. The OSI and GSI map viewers also seem to have different dated satellite coverage.
