World series thingy resumes tomorrow morning, Auckland this time.
Live on eir1 at 8am in morning, repeated in full at 8pm on ITV4.
    Draw here (no MVG).
Our first look at Corey Cadby since December I think, tough opener against Wright.

Could be an even tougher draw for Wright! Cadby doesn't seem to fear anyone but this might be just youth and inexperience. Very exciting prospect.

Gary Anderson out in round 1, nightmare stuff!

Just watched Wright v Cadby...deserved to win. Wright was out of sorts and Cadby threw a few stray ones
but fair result. With Wright on a finish and two darts in his hand Cadby on 66 went T10 D18 when there isn't
a player on the tour who wouldn't have gone for 16 Bull. That's the kind of thing that makes him interesting.

Spoilers for anyone waiting for ITV4.
Good games, wins for Kyle Anderson and Taylor by 10-9 over Whitlock and RVB. Slightly easier wins for Cadby and Wade who both averaged 100. Semi Finals are KAnderson v Wade, and Cadby v Taylor

    Michael Smith 10-5.

Fantastic darts from Wade today, best form I've seem from him in a long time. Good match between RVB v Taylor also, great match.

An unlikely pairing in the final but has to be said it's good do see new faces and it was a cracking match.

Utter ignorance from Phil, very little grace left In the chap.

Overall glad these lads made some progress over the weekend, the boost they'll need to take it up a gear In future.

Taylor is one horrible specimen of a human.
Personally I can’t wait to see the back of him. If that was any other player carrying on like that on stage the DRA would be handing out big fines. But he gets away with it time and time again.

And onward to Melbourne this week, starting Friday morning live on eir with delayed coverage in the evenings on ITV4.
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2017_Melbourne_Darts_Masters

Much the same cast as last week, still no MVG.
RVB v Cadby looks the best of the early action.

Who cares. It'll be exiting to watch him pissing people off over the next few years. MvGs biggest rival when he joins the tour I think. Big cojones

    Some good games today.
All 10-9s so far with wins for Taylor, Whitlock and Wright against Cadby, Wade and Smiffy.

Gurney vs Anderson: Great close knit game, Anderson will be livid with himself after that poor start. 14 missed chances at doubles before netting his first, a horrid first leg from him which he had sown up. Gurney coming on leaps and bounds.

Taylor vs Cadby: Another great game. Cadby should have made it two straight wins, lost his concentration at 8-6 up. If Cadby keeps this form up, he should be able make a mark come the worlds.

Tailor calling Cadby Cadbury in post match interview, snidey boy lol

Another week, another city in upsidedown land as the World Series moves onto Perth on Friday morning.
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2017_Perth_Darts_Masters

MVG and Adrian Lewis remain on paternity leave so its the same players we've got to know and indeed love over the last few weekends.
Cadby has RVB first up again this week, with the winner likely playing Taylor in the quarter finals, as the PDC proves again that the one thing they are incapable of is giving us a fresh interesting draw.

eir in the mornings, ITV4 in the evenings, you know the drill.

Day 2 doesn't seem to be on live on Eir, Formula One on instead.
