I was in my local Dunnes Stores in Carlow and I noticed that most of the male staff were sporting hairy chins in an effort to grow a beard. I found it very odd and asked one of them what was going on with all the hair. Apparently you couldn't have facial hair up until two weeks ago but the company has changed its policy and now everyone wants to grow a beard. Hats off to them for coming into 2016 with a bang. They also did something similar last year when they banned their managers from wearing ties and encouraged them to wear more casual clothes. Have a look the next time you are in Dunnes and you won't miss the hair.

Might be more productive if the banned them from walking round the store straightening up items on the shelf an do what they are paid to do-manage.
