    they won't be pleased.

We don't know yet if this is genuine, or even if it is, it could be just a very low power setup going just a very short distance from someone's house .
The 2 pictures posted yesterday, is there any indication they are even DAB radios ? We could be just seeing file info for an MP3 file

Heartbeat FM (Eden FM) Edenderry and Environs Various dates from July to December

Is that any relation to the online station Heartbeat, and former pirate, and former temp licensee around Dublin?

Whats happening on 91.9 in Dublin? Sounds like a tone and dance music, hard to listen to.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,867 ✭✭✭JDxtra

Can't get 91.9 out my way to check, 2FM too strong on 91.8.

The Cube now on 91.9, 94.3 and 101.2 FM in Dublin playing 80s.

I see the Jamming of retro 91.9fm has commenced again it's not hot FM as it's been made to look like it's them with a relay of hot.
bit silly of the operator of the relay to be doing it. the owners of retro have a very good idea of who it is behind it and its location site their is outher Freq s available on the band to broadcast retro has been on a long time on their.
just brings unwanted attention on the rest of us operators not nice and not fair lads cop on and find an alternative Freq you don't want the attention and neither do the rest of us

Just scanning the band at this time and again I ask the question what is coming out of that 99.5 fm no concept on how to put proper audio to a transmission signal, total distortion overmodulated, the people who operate this so called station radio muck should send an SOS for a radio engineer and maybe they might be able to get it sorted out because at this stage the whole operation is a complete embarrassment to radio or else switch off.

99.5 is NOT distorted or over modulated .

Lots of stations on air over the weekend - the 94.3 relay of the Cube perhaps being the most intriguing.

The perfect jam of Retro also intriguing but for different reasons.

Some interesting developments along the border with the return of Wild Country on 104.2.

so does that mean storm is gone from 104.2?

I’d say River is at least, Storm really only covers Louth and parts of Meath so not sure

Yes - it's loud and far from perfect - notably on higher frequencies but it is not over modulated or distorted.

It's possible that in areas of weaker reception you are getting an effect that makes the audio appear distorted , 99.5 pattern is different from most of the pirates.

Dance music on 102.5FM - relay of Mix Radio.

    Decent signal across the southside.

Frequency has not been used for years - Lite did not like white noise when Caroline suffered a few technical issues back in the day - once you don't over modulate perfectly ok.

Audio is basic with no processing on 102.5
