I can't comment on this course but I do know that distance learning is hard, very hard. You have to be very motivated and be sure that you can make the time commitment before paying out your money. 150 hours over 3 months means over 12 hours a week - 2 evenings and most of a day at the weekend. Think about that.
Online courses typically have a very low completion rate. Ask them what percentage of those who enroll actually get a certificate.

where did you get 150 hours? I couldn't see that on the website. Good point though, i have asked them how many hours it would typically take. Did you do any online writing courses?

You were right!! I just heard back, it is 150 hours work. That seems like a lot.

I did this course in 2015 and found it very useful. It helps galvanise you into actually getting something down on paper. The worst part of it was doing the final essay.

Go to QQI website, select the Awards option, then type in the course code( which you should find on the website of your provider) the course title and the level of the award, click search and this should bring you to a page with more detail about the course, how many hours, subjects etc. I was checking out courses myself on their site this week and it's very useful. Some really good courses there too. Good luck!
