That was actually a lovely try, dodgy defending but the pass was inch perfect

    This is a bit mad.

Well worked try there, we have a bit of a game on our hands now :)

Two tries have both come from failures to collect restarts.

And try Connacht. Both Murphy and VdH did poorly there.

Henshaw with some lovely passing so far

If that's a knock-on for ripping the ball, Munster's try should have stood earlier after Harris-Wright knocked the ball from Murphy's control. Annoying inconsistencies.

Murphys defence at 13 is woeful.

That ball was out of the scrum surely?

He makes a a good few extra yards of ground when passing and receiving; this is causing Munster problems this early on.

If that's in twas a great finish

Edit, how did the tj miss that?

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,965 ✭✭✭✭Losty Dublin

No try. Pity; it was great foresight though.

Why do you need a TMO for that? The assistants should be making that call - it was obvious.

Munster defense non existent yet again.

  • Registered Users Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

Wilkinson staring at it can't make a decision.

Crap camera angles there, touch judge needs to grow a pair & make the call

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,178 ✭✭✭Quint2010

I see Travis Bickle is on the wing for Munster...

Touch judge should have really called that

If Munster cut out the brainfarts they win this easily enough, if not, it could be bloody close

    Gift!

Good interception. Connacht telegraphing the passes there.

    GDH reminiscent of JDV there!

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,636 ✭✭✭✭Tox56

Classic Connacht, lots of ambition and nice play but unforgivable inaccuracies

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,668 ✭✭✭Mahatma Geansai

Very well played by VdH there. Is that his second intercept try for Munster? No player in the country will catch him in that amount of space.

That should be yellow for Downey imo

  • Registered Users Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

Yeah I always rated that Duncan Williams bloke. :D

(Not even checking the Downey tackle?!)

    Duncan Williams!

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,821 ✭✭✭budhabob

Poor reffing I think, should have been a penalty to Connacht
