Hi all,

BEKO Washer dryer issue

    Hi all.

    Having a problem with the dryer part of our washer dryer (beko). If we put in a couple of small items it works fine but if we put in anything more than that it turns off (cycle ends) after 5 mins or so. No probs with the washing.

    Is there a sensor issue or anything simple?

    We have similar issues with a normal beko dryer and it’s an absolute pain. We got sensors replaced under warranty but it still happens. It runs ok once we restart it but because the dryer has a so called smart sensor it’s meant to turn itself off when clothes are dry. 3 or 4 small items and it works fine. Seems to be a design flaw

    I am not familiar with the beko wd but all washer dryers are much the same, if you are putting more than the stated load in for drying you will have problems , its only a washer drum with little room for clothes to expand when drying like a t/d drum which is much larger than a wash load. if the dryer has a timed setting as against a sensor setting set it on the timed drying

    Yeah but its a stupidly small amouht of drying that seems to trip it. More than 2 or 3 t-shirts or 1 large towel. Surely it should take more than that

    After having a look in their website they say up to 5 shirts for drying in most models so next time you are spending your hard earned money better research the product first
