Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Count to a million thread causing technical problems

    We're having some issues on our back end which are in danger of bringing the site down. We're not sure what specifically is causing the problem, but it's been tracked to some posts on that thread. I've had to delete it whilst the tech team investigate.

    It should be back later when they've figured it out.

    I think it's just a case of waiting, people. The problem should be solved within a few days and we'll be back to the number crunching before too long I'm sure.

    Sounds like the ship has hit an iceberg.
    It took over 80 years to locate the Titanic, and even then they didn't try to raise it to the surface.
    So, not looking good then, eh?
