Jesus what a KO. Two of the top 5 at 170 absolutely starched in the space of 7 days.

Add Woodley's recent loss into that and it's 3 of the top 5 in a matter of weeks .

    Pettis to pop in 3, 2, 1...?

Wonderboy's low hands always a risk but Pettis KOing a much bigger man stiff like that is shocking.

Wonderboy got caught blind, smaller than Pettis has put away bigger than Wonderboy although they did look a weight class apart

It was a shock ko but he nearly finished Ferguson 5 months ago and he’s a zombie brought to life most of the time

Wonderboy was taking him apart until that incredible KO....seriously, what a highlight reel KO to compliment the infamous cage walk headkick.

Can't see Pettis going toe to toe with the real bangers at 170 though.

edit: Good video from Thompson in the hospital afterwards talking about the loss. Genuine, chilled out guy and a humble one too.

Love Wonderboy, such a decent guy and can be great to watch but his record over the last while really makes bad reading on paper. 1 win in the last 5.

Was not expecting that and he was well on top. It’s a long road back to a title shot now. Really was not much to gain and a lot to lose in that fight for him. Plus he’s 36 now as well.

Pettis seems to be going all out lately but it is hard to see him beating the top wrestlers in the division. McGregor should look at him as a decent option if he wants a striking match that he has a good chance of winning. Winner of Justin v Barboza would be fun as well.

I think Wonderboy would be one of the few in the division to trouble usman but it's a long road back now for him

Could have won any of those fights he lost on a different night although last night was a bit of a freak result

Not sure where he goes from here tbh
