77.6mm so far this month here near Tralee.

Ground well and truly Saturated even though just 2.4mm today. Big locks of water in quite a few fields locally.

Starting to brighten a bit in the west, but I'm not expecting much improvement.

Showers going through, mainly overcast so far but a bit of sunlight bursting through now, still plenty of dark cloud about though so expecting more showers.

How can met eireann get a forecast so wrong not a mention of rain all day for Dublin airport in the taf yet it's bucketing down right now. The rain is clearly visible on the radar too.
