Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Newgrange - Solstice Observation a Day Early?

    As per the title

    I see news reports of crowds at Newgrange today to observe the Winter Solstice, however I understood the solstice occurs at 04:48 tomorrow 22nd December?


    Are they correct in turning up today (never mind the weather) expecting to see the inner chamber lit up?
