Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Lol, Evelyn got a sideways dig in at the Donegal post man there after the 9 O Clock news, fair play to her! Good quote from Carl Sagan too!

    Came to post that. Telling people to read Lorenz and then quotes Sagan.

    For some reason I can't see it on the RTE player either.

    Evelyns famous in our house too , a couple of years back she said on Friday we would have a **** bank holiday , rain, rain and more rain , put loads of people off travelling and we spent the two days in t-shirts sitting on benches outside the pub.
    She even had an arguement that weekend on radio that the sceince of weather was better than local knowledge .

    And I wouldnt be going around using Carl Sagan quotes as some kind of backup for my arguement if i were her. Theres a man who ignored James Lovelocks early hypothsis on earth feedback loops whenit was presented to him on a plate and wasted much of his career on bio-astronomy.
