Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    I was quickly locking my bike up in UCD this morning and my eye caught something interesting. A black steel lugged ( I think ) road bike with " hand mad in ireland " proudly blazoned on the down tube. Turned out to be a phoenix. I've never heard of them. Probable guess on age? Early 80's due to the cotterless cranks. I didn't get much more of a look after that, I had lecture to run to.

    Any more info on them? I always knew Raleigh had manufacturing operations here but I didn't know of anyone else.
