Hi, I dug up an old photo recently (circa1938) which has a picture of someone on a motorbike.
Is there anyway to get info about who the bike was registered to using the reg number on the bike?
I tried cartell and motorcheck but no info.
the number itself is TI 1284, which we think relates to Limerice but not sure.
    Any advice appreciated.

indeed, TI was an original Limerick City issue, and that particular number would be around 100 years old now.
As for finding who it was registered to, you may be able to research the old registration ledgers if they are still extant and in storage somewhere, you could try Limerick CoCo or the motor taxation office as a starting point.
