Getting into silly season now with rider transfers and teams doing all sorts of crazzzzzy stuff.

Kittels already gone from Katusha Alpecin, Bennetts rumored to be out of Bora and on the look for a new team and someones stupid enough to take on Bouhanni

So that's 1 less pro conti teams next season. I wonder was this merger already done when the quintana transfer became public. Was going to be a strange move for him to drop down from world tour team

The other thing that tweet mentions is BMC, are they going to keep supplying Dimension Data or are they pulling the plug on them? Couldn't blame them if they did.

EDIT: the Nairo Quintana move makes more sense now, no way he'd want to be on a team not guaranteed a GT slot. Could be the makings of a decent team.

    Hmmm... interesting!
    This bit:
Riders, including new singings Nairo Quintana and Nacer Bouhanni
...will add a nice bit of extra entertainment to those long boring transition days...
    :D

I read that Diego Rosa is going to quintana team from sky.

Wonder where the Irish lads go, are most out of contract this year?

Sam to DQS seems to be a done deal, Eddie to stay at Ineos, Dan I suspect will be moved on after his outburst over his 'blockage', god only knows where Nico goes, Ryan Mullen to stay where he is and as for Conor Dunne who knows now that Ricky isn't paying his salary anymore.

Did Conor do anything with ICA this year?

He did a decent ride in a Turkish stage race if I recall, and was up there pulling in some of the run in's at the Giro.

Landa to Bahrain-Merida it seems and Barguil is staying put.

Any word on Nico or Dan?

Would Sunweb even want Barguil back doubt he left on good terms after he was sent home from the Veulta.

Can't be any worse then UAE after their performance at the tour but in reality probably not the best move but he's not getting any younger

With total on board they have a much bigger budget so could be an interesting move. Will be interesting to see who else they sign?

Matto Trentin to CCC first big transfer gone through
Cycling’s transfer window officially opened on August 1 and Trentin is the first major move at men’s WorldTour level. He also represents the first major signing for Jim Ochowicz’s team since BMC ended its sponsorship and Polish company CCC stepped in to save the team.

Trentin is a fine rider, current Euro champion isn't he.

Victor Campanaerts from Lotto Soudal to Dimension Data. Signs of improvement for the soon to be rebranded Dimension Data
    https://www.nieuwsblad.be/cnt/dmf20190816_04560217
Also leaving Lotto-Soudal is Tiesj Benoot who will be joining Sunweb next season.

An interesting one to add the speculation is that Jonathon Vaughters has confirmed he is looking at signing two riders this month one of which he describes as "an experienced rider who could protect guys like Martinez and Higuita on the crosswinds etc."
Does Nicolas Roche fit the bill here or is his best chance a contract renewal at Sunweb
