Hi

Are you a german citizen that got married abroad in the US?

I understand that marrying in the City Hall in New York one needs to bring form of ID and sometimes birth cert if required and once you get a marriage cert (I believe the long version) Ireland would recognise it.

Is there anything a german citizen living in Ireland would need to do before marrying abroad?
